Is that a dust cap on the grease zerk on the upper balljoint? Too fancy for me!

1 Car needs to be sitting on it’s wheels. (Ramps make  this a breeze if you have 4.)

2. Adjust links so they are right length to fit and bolt them in.

1. I would need to fit the brakes and all, and I need to torque down all the control arm bolts so wheels arnt happening today

2. So as long as the 2 ends of the end link are in their neutral position, that should be it?

Yes it is! The Mini’s rear sway bar bushings came with them and I had to get em for the Vette, it keeps the zerks so much more tidy!

Plus it was like $10 for 50 of them caps in Amazon...

Shiny.

May all your squeaks come as expressions of delight and not from your suspension.

Wait, doesn’t the Bette have a transverse spring for the rear?

I bought a similar pack for capping brake bleeder screws . Dunno why the thought never occurred to me to put them on zerk fittings... I usually just smear a dollo p of grease on the zerk after lubing it to keep it from rusting.

Yeah but I would pull it apart(just the links) once it rolls to properly set them.

Thanks! I'm planning to periodically inspect the suspension anyways since half of it is new now

Thanks

But with delrin bushings and stiff springs, it'll probably be noisy

Not anymore! I removed the leafs, the coilovers replace the leafs and dampers

The leaf spring is  an elegant solution, but certainly limits adjustability.

NO! You traitor!

(I joke. I would have done the same if the money had been there when I replaced my FX3)

I hated the wheel hop and cross-talk, the leafs were partially to blame...

Hold my bear as I rice it further with some choice wheels :P

These were as expensive as a set of Koni Yellows, so it was a no brainier for me

The coil over kit for the C4 was 2 times the cost of the better manually adjustable shocks, so that was a no brainer for me

That makes sense tho, I have no clue how these guys make and sell these so cheap for the C5/6/7...Forums have a bunch of good reviews about them

Hey that is a great steal then. Please share how they feel once you go out.

Even just shocks made a huge difference on mine, but then I started to bushings too and I realized why my car handled so waywardly, they are all shot and falling apart. The sway bar link bushings were almost non existent .

Ooh yeah, that will kill all feel...My ball joints were real bad too and im guessing that they contributed to the loose handling. My real sway bar bushings are worn too actually, to Rockauto I go!

I’ll post a review of the before and after of the car once I have it setup (I need to post a review for the Mini too but I keep being lazy :\)

Even my Datsun has a true independent rear suspension, even though it is lacking in a rear sway bar. I guess those are not as important when you have a curb weight around 2300 lbs.
